BYK-A 515 – WETTING – AIR RELEASE ADDITIVE

Air release agent for solvent-borne and solvent-free epoxy, UP/VE and PUR systems and adhesives.

Improves the fiber wetting and is particularly used in vinyl ester resins, highly thixotropic gel coats and acrylate resins (syrups)

    1. COMPOSITION:
    • Solution of foam-destroying polymers, silicone-free.
    1. FEATURE:
    • Highly surface-active air release additive.
    • Fiber wetting properties for unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins.
    • Does not prevent the settling of fillers.
    • Used in acrylic resins (syrup) to prevent air entrapment.

    • 0.1 – 0.5 % additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation.
