VINYL ESTER RESIN 901

Swancor 901is a high-performance vinyl ester resin with a main chain from Bisphenol A. This resin has strong corrosion resistance in chemical environments such as acid, alkaline with high concentrations, oxidizing environments and solvent environments.

The product achieves high and stable mechanical strength, such as tensile and bending strength, especially when reinforced with fiberglass, carbon fiber, kevla fiber or other fibers. Swancor 901 Chempulse can provide high toughness along with high fatigue strength thanks to its high deformation temperature. With the advantages of low viscosity and good fiber wet out, low or no amount of DMA required, easy to use and economical, low curing heat, less cracking and warping, helping the finished product achieve higher quality.

The above gelation characteristics determined using 0.4% accelerator (6% Co2+) and 1.2% v/w MEKPO catalyst (Butanox M-50) on 20g of resin.
