• Sorbitan Stearate is an extremely mild but very powerful multi-functional nonionic surfactant. It is based on Stearic Acid and is often used in combination with one or more of the Twee products to achieve a desired HLB value.
• This nonionic surfactant can function as emulsifiers, detergents, spreading or dispersing agents since it has excellent emulsification, emollient and lubricant properties.
• Sorbitan Stearate is a consistency agent and co-emulsifier O/W for skin care, hair care and decorative cosmetics. They offer many advantages over ionic surfactants such as soaps, including increased stability, formulating flexibility and wider compatibility.
